In the evening of 18^th February 2012, Thang Long Spare Part Equipment Joint Stock Company received “Certificates of authorization for Dunlop Distributor in North Area in year 2012” at Hanoi Sofitel Plaza.

Dunlop is name of the person who invented this tire - Mr. JohnBoyd Dunlop. He was born in Scotland at a farm in Dreghorn, NorthAyrshire. In 1887, when JohnBoyd Dunlop was trying to improve the functionality and comfor for his son’s bike - a tire can helps the bike run smoothly and easy to process, he was completely successful in inventing the first air tire buffer and made the foundation for a development process associated with the development path of cars and motorcycles production.

On October 31st, 1888, the institute of invention patented for air tire idea of John Boyd Dunlop.
With many years of experience, Dunlop has always led in the creation and application of new technologies in the field of tire manufacturers. This kind of tires brings new and modern features, improve ability to feel the road and bring the most comfortable feeling for the driver. Dunlop tires always meet the standards of many leading car manufacturers such as Alfa Romeo, AMG, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Jaguar, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Chrysler, TVR, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda, Suzuki, Nissan, Isuzu, GM Daewoo, Hyundai,Kia, and Mazda...

Entering into the Vietnamese market, Dunlop is known widely day by day. At this event, in front of over 100 representatives of tire distributors in North Area, Thang Long JSC was granted “Dunlop Gold Medal” for Thang Long’s contribution to develop Dunlop brand in recent years. 

Mrs. Lai Lo Helen – Representative of Dunlop, granted “Certificates of authorization for Dunlop Distributor in North Area in year 2012” to Mr. Phan Manh Ha – Deputy Director, Representative of Thang Long JSC. 

With the constant efforts, Thang Long JSC always not only brings profit but also gives Dunlop a strongposition on the automobile tire market in Vietnam. "Certificates of authorization for Dunlop Distributor in North Area in year 2012” granted to Thang Long JSC at the event confirmed manufacturer’s belief in business reputation of Thang Long and belief in success in near future of the Dunlop brand tire.

From now on, Thang Long JSC becomes an official importer and exclusive distributor of Dunlop brand tire in Northern Vietnam. This is not only a great honor but also a supreme responsibility which Thang Long JSC has to take. However, with strong contemporary, theingenious leadership of management board, along with dynamic sales executives, Thang Long JSC has not only left a deep impression and a steady belief of presents of customers and partners in the ceremony but also affected on the tire industry in Vietnam.

Ending the ceremony, the guests left in the fun because from now their demands for luxury tires will be met in the Vietnamese market with competitive price. It is hoped that in near future, Thang Long JSC will make Dunlop brand tires become the leading automobile tires in Vietnamese Market.
